Had the same issue last year when my daughter dropped the Savage - although I did not follow it up I did look very closely at the broken mirror and thought that there should be someway to repair it
The new mirror in Canada was $62.00 - kind of wished I had gone with aftermarket parts when I got the bill!
Keep the rubber side down
